We sleep in peace because they are protecting
us. We celebrate our festivals because they make
sure that we do. We are enjoying the freedom of
life because they are guarding us day and night.
They are our brave soldiers who provide us
with a sense of security and fearlessness with
their undying commitment. They stand tall,
safeguarding the nation and securing the
future and dreams of 125 crore Indians.
Narendra Modi, since his days as the Chief
Minister of Gujarat, has been celebrating
the Diwali festival with the Indian army as a
mark of respect to their selfless service. The
tradition continued even after he became
the Prime Minister.
